The North East Open Studios is Scotland’s largest Open Studios event. This years event takes place from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd September 2012. I will be showing a range of paintings, collages and prints from the beginning of my career to the present. NEOS is an opportunity to come along and chat about art in a relaxed setting; details below:

I offer visual stories that portray my fascination with soul and psyche. Not being a purist, I often mix media and it’s not unusual to find sand and plaster mixed with my paint. Some stories ask for a gritty, grungy expression while others require a delicate, layered approach.
Inspiration comes from everywhere: history, The Masters, the media, nature, psychology, philosophy, but most importantly, those around me and as it continues to flow, I am infinitely grateful.
